John S. Mengucci

John MengucciJohn S. Mengucci has been an influential figure in business and in community service for over two decades. John currently is the president of Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Global Solutions-Civil, where he leads more than 13,000 employees that are responsible for a wide array of information technology systems and services for areas such as energy, healthcare, transportation, security and space exploration. Prior to his current position, he held numerous other leadership assignments at Lockheed Martin, including president of Lockheed Martin IS & GS-Defense and IS & GS-Mission and Combat Support Solutions and as CEO of Lockheed Martin Orincon. An active member of the community, Mengucci has continually received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for performing more than 300 hours of community service a year.

At Canastota High School John excelled in sports, club events and music. A 3-varsity sport athlete, John participated in soccer, bowling and tennis where he captured MVP and Sportsmanship Awards. John excelled in music at Canastota Jr. and Sr. High School participating in choir, band, jazz band and yearly musicals. In his senior year John was selected as the first and only individual from Canastota to participate in the McDonalds All-American High School Band as well as the United States Collegiate Orchestra that toured numerous European countries during a 21-day tour. Through the McDonalds’ All-American Band events, he brought pride to the school, the music program, and the community. John graduated in 1980 with a NYS Regents Diploma from Canastota High School.

A Clarkson University graduate of 1984, John earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in ComputerJohn Mengucci Graduation Science. While at Clarkson, he became president of his fraternity (Delta Upsilon). In 1992, he earned an MBA Degree from Syracuse University.

I attribute a great deal of my accomplishments to not only what the great teachers at Canastota taught me, but also how they helped me develop as an individual.”

John is the son of John and Mary Ann Mengucci. He resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife Mary Ellen and their two sons, Thomas 15 and Paul 12.
