Board of Education Invites Residents to Participate in Education Committee

During the September 12th Board of Education Meeting, BOE members approved the formation of an Education Committee. This committee will provide a forum where BOE members Tim Bazan, Martha Berry and Debbie New will meet with District teachers, staff, administrators, parents, students and interested community members to discuss educational issues and concerns that affect our district.

The first meeting will be held on Monday, November 6th from 6:30-8:00pm in the CHS Media Center. NY State testing and the opt-out rate will be the first topics of discussion.

We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas. We will also be setting up a tentative schedule for future meetings and will be collecting ideas for future topics of discussion.
