A group of students from Mrs. Zupan's health class recently went on an awesome field trip to Central Rock Gym in Syracuse. During the trip, they received a top roping orientation to become belay-certified and also participated in bouldering, a different type of rock climbing. This field trip allowed the students to experience a new and unique physical activity, which can positively contribute to their overall health and well-being. Furthermore, rock climbing teaches students important skills such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and courage.
Thank you to Mrs. Zupan, Miss Russo, and Miss Jones for chaperoning this awesome trip!
