Teacher Resources for Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
This webpage provides information and resources for teachers related to the Dignity for All Students Act. This law was designed and implemented to help foster "more nurturing environments in all schools." While many have dubbed the law "the anti-bullying law", the language in the act does not specifically address bullying; instead it addresses harassment and discrimination which are two key components of bullying. It is hoped that by addressing the behaviors that frequently lead to bullying, there is a greater likelihood that students will enjoy learning environments that are more conducive to increased achievement.
